    Roger Long, ’89, Founder of The Citadel Memorial Europe Foundation, pays his respects to James William Hendon, Jr., ’46, who was killed during a mid-air collision of two bombers over the Belgian coast. SSGT Hendon rests in peace at Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupré, Belgium,which lies 12 km south of Liege.
